Recurrent Cystitis (UTIs)
Specialist diagnosis and care for recurrent urinary tract infections.
What are recurrent cystitis?
Recurrent cystitis or frequent bladder infections are defined as having two or more episodes of bladder infection in six months or three or more episodes in a year. They are a very common health issue, especially in women.
Recurrent bladder infections can cause significant discomfort, pelvic pain, frequency and urgency to urinate, haematuria (blood in the urine) and impact quality of life. They can lead to serious complications if left untreated, including kidney infections and sepsis.
